Pay financial adviser??

My wife and i have close $400,000 in retirement funds. i’m retired for 8 months she retires in june 2019. i have LTC with a financial institution. They are reputable and never pressured us into anything. If they handle my retirement funds they’re asking for 1.23% per Quarter. I would be nervous about a major market drop if i managed it myself. This way they would move funds in appropriate allocations. I have a pension she will have one also and waiting till we are 66 for S.S.
