Paying Estimated Quarterly Taxes Online
Hi Terry- You spoke briefly about paying estimated quarterly taxes by going to https://www.irs.gov/payments on WGN 12-10-25. Can you please give some additional information on which section to go to and if it is required to set up a IRS account.
My mom’s accountant gave her printed coupons to mail in her checks and told her she could not set up auto withdrawn from her bank account for her.

I understand the accountant saying she could not set up auto-payments to the IRS. You will have to help your mom set up the account and make her quarterly estimated payment online. I’m not sure exactly when they will stop accepting paper checks — but it’s supposed to be in 2026.
So go to this link —https://www.irs.gov/payments
It’s easy to set up a payment account and link it to her checking account. (Well, easy for us — maybe not so easy for seniors!) But like anything else, it’s easy once you’ve done it a few times!
