Payment based on 2018 or 2019?
Good morning I receive social security and I’m 52 my daughter file me on her 2018 taxes but she didn’t file me on her 2019 taxes do I receive a stimulus payment

That all depends on which return the government looks at! If she filed 2019 electronically, they will likely see that one. but if it was filed by paper, they are behind in registering those because no one is working at the IRS!! And we won’t know until you do — or don’t — get that stimulus, likely in May. There may be a place to appeal these cases and if so I will write about it.
