Payoff Rental Property Mortgage Early or Invest the money in stocks
I have a mortgage of $178000 on a rental property. There is 23 years left on the mortgage. It has a 4.2% interest rate. The monthly payment is $1548.87, $384.15 is principal,$630.48 is interest, $534.24 is escrow.
Should I put an extra $1000 a month towards the principal or should I invest the $1000 in stocks?
