Payout from SSA in the past week.

I got a large payout deposited in my registered bank account from SSA.
It came to me off schedule from my normal monthly deposit.
Should i accept it or go to SS to explain?

Yep, that’s the makeup payment for all of 2024 — since your monthly benefits were reduced either by the WEP or GPO — public service pensions.
Your monthly payment should also increase.
I recommend just leaving that windfall in savings. SS is so messed up, we want to make sure they don’t start clawing those payments back!
