PPP and unemployment
My son is a sole proprietor and received a PPP loan. However, he still won’t be able to work after 8 weeks when the PPP is depleted. Can he then apply for unemployment?

Yes, but he should consider whether he gets greater benefits from the PPP loan than unemployment + $600/week till July 25th. The PPP loan might not be worth the hassle!
