Protecting my 401K and my Vanguard Account

By Terry Savage on April 04, 2025 | Investments

Hi Terry, watch you all the time on WGN. I trust your statements. I’m very concerned about my 401 and my Vanguard Federal Money Mkr account.
My 401 is in intermediate term bond 14%
Large cap equity 53%
Mid cap 8%
International 14%
Company Allstate stock 11%
What or where should I move or diversify my allocations to keep them safe right now.
Thank you

That depends on your age, and whether you’re still working and contributing to your 40l(k).
If you’re retired, you should long ago have rolled over into an IRA, with more conservative investment choices. REad this; https://www.terrysavage.com/rollover-now/

If you’re still working, you have a nice diversified portfolio. Which means you’ll lose a little bit everywhere! Keep contributing every paycheck, because your fixed contribution will buy alot more shares at lower prices!
