PUA benefits
Our daughter has finally received her PUA benefits however she feels that they have miscalculated the amount she should get (they overpaid). She has tried to reach IDES. They automatically switch phone to high call volume message immediately after opening and email has been removed from sight. Can you suggest what she should do? She would like to use the money sent but is afraid to Incase they want it back. She has waited so long for this money and still can’t use it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Remember,she gets an extra $600/week as a Federal bonus (until July 25th). Is that the unexplained “extra”? I think it probably is.
Otherwise, tell her to save some of the money — but given the mess at IDES it is doubtful that they’ll ever come after an over-payment! Gosh, it’s wonderful to get a question from someone who isn’t still waiting for benefits!
