Hello my husband sent me your information
He listens to you all the time. I got my tax statement from unemployment and I thought the number that they claimed I received on unemployment was very high. So I went through all my bank statements and never received certain payments that I saw posted to my account. I also went through and added up each payment and they were off by almost $4000. How do I proceed. Thank your time!

Let’s treat this as fraud. That will get you more prompt information. You need a corrected 1099G — but that’s not likely to happen! Just in case someone else used your SS number, do all the things on this list.
I’m afraid you’re in for a rough time challenging PART of a 1099G. Let me know what happens.
