PUA on debit card or direct deposit?

By Terry Savage on May 17, 2020 | Wild Card

I am self employed and applied for regular unemployment comp. and was denied as I figured. I then recently applied for the PUA unemployment and it says active and reviewing. However it read as payment type will be debit card. When I first applied for the regular unemployment it says I was set up for direct deposit. When I go onto the PUA and try to change it, it will auto fill my username and password from the original application and say I am all set up for direct deposit yet the PUA screen says debit card. Am I suppose to set up another account with a new user name and password just for the PUA site or should I just leave it stand as a debit card since it is so hard to change? Also can I deposit a debit card into my checking account with no fees? Thanks Terry, Gordy

You are so “lucky” that they’re giving you money, I’d take it any way you can get it! Do you already have the debit card and PIN? If so, keep checking to see if money landed — but also look at your checking account.
I’d just withdraw the cash from the debit card if it lands there, and put it in your checking account. But don’t count your benefits before they hatch — and actually land SOMEWHERE! In fact, please write back and let me know —

money
