Retired Nurse’s 401k

By Terry Savage on August 20, 2024 | Financial Planning / Retirement

Hi Terry,
I just read Sundays Trib article regarding Target retirement funds which I have. I retired in June, own my home have about 100k liquid assets in high percentage savings, several Roth IRAs, and a 600k 401k in the said target 2025 fund. What do I do with it? Part of it is a Roth 401k. Do I roll it over …somewhere? I do have a Vanguard account with 100k that follows the index.
I’ve been a saver most of my life and don’t want to screw it up.

I think this is a good time for a review of your entire financial picture — future income through withdrawals, taxes, estate plan, naming of beneficiaries, etc. That’s what financial planning is all about — but you need someone who you know is on your side!
