Retirement Fund Risk Assessment

Hi Terry – thank you for today’s article on retirement fund risk. I am 53 and currently have a 80% stocks /20% other balance in my 401A plan. I’ve thought about rebalancing that to 50%/50% given the current state of the market and then addressing again as I get closer to retirement (assuming age 65). I used to have a high tolerance for risk, but less so now. Smart or not? Thank you for considering my question. Mark Fowler
