Retirement fund in stock market now?
Here we go again!?… I’m less than 5 yrs out for retiring (59) and the market appears to be draining away what little I have. I have been on the conservative side of the market for some time. What can I do to keep what we have? I don’t want to work another 10 years!!
Terry Says: You’re less than 5 years out from retirement — but likely at least 25 years out from dying! So don’t panic. You have a long way to go! Yes, it’s getting scary again. But you’re still working, still contributing. And that means you’ll be buying stocks on sale! Stick to your plan. And make sure to use the most conservative balance in your investments inside your retirement plan.
