retirement goal savings goal.

Terry,
I am 36 years old with a wife and two kids who are under ten years of age. I have 400k+ total on my 403(b)table , Roth IRA, and personal investment account. I was told by a professional financial planner that I would need about $4 million dollars to live comfortable during my retirement years. I am investing aggressively on all my accounts and I would like to know what else can I do to reach that goal?

Terry Says:    The best thing you can do is to continue to save and invest wisely.  Don’t forget, your savings plan will be interrupted by paying for college for your children!  Go to www.ChoosetoSave.org — the website of the Employee Benefit Research Institute.  Use their “ballpark estimator” tool to see how much you should be saving to reach your retirement goals.
