I would leave my money in the bank — even at today’s low rates — and make sure all my financial plans were organized — including updating your will, your healthcare power of attorney, and using my free Personal Financial Organizer as a checklist to do everything that must be done.
I have no idea of your age, your current income, whether you are getting Social Security and/or some sort of pension. And mostly I have no idea of your health prognosis.
If you can afford even one meeting with a financial planner — WHO IS NOT TRYING TO SELL YOU SOMETHING — I suggest you go to www.Wealthramp.com and go through the process of finding a FIUCIARY planner to at least set you on the right path.
Seems like most of the worst things in life have already happened to you — so hopefully better times are ahead. Plan for them!
