Retirement money management

By Terry Savage on December 14, 2022 |

Terry I have money in stocks. I am retired. Early at 59. Have heath issues. No income other than dividends. Live tight. Tired of it. Why have this money when I Can’t live comfortably. I probably won’t live long. But want to pay bulls and be comfortably. My brother helps me with my finances he is smart in that area but I feel he isn’t helping me. Please advise me.

Oh, that’s a terrible situation. But I can’t advise you without knowing more about you. You say you have money in stocks — but obviously not inside a retirement account, since you can access the dividends. And did you work long enough to qualify for Social Security? If so, and if you have a short life expectancy (only God knows for sure) then you could start getting money from SS at age 62. And what are you doing for health insurance??
Not knowing any more about you, I can only suggest you pay for a meeting with a financial planner you can trust. Find one at www.Wealthramp.com
