Hello I had a 403B from my last job and they sent me paperwork to put it in an retirement account but I got stuck I’m late making my decision witch ira is better traditional or a Roth I’m 48 going on 49 at this time I have no retirement plan at my job

Terry Says

I suggest you do an immediate rollover to a traditional IRA, so there is no tax involved this year.
Here’s an article that will explain the process: https://www.terrysavage.com/rollover-now/

One warning: rollover directly to Fidelity or Vanguard. Just pick the S&P 500 stock fund. At your age that will give you plenty of time to grow your existing account. DO NOT accept the services of an “advisor” who will only charge you fees that cut into your growth!
