Is there retroactive unemployment pay? My pay kicked in 7 weeks after I was laid off. Calls to Illinois unemployment have not been successful

Yes, you should be getting pay retroactive to your unemployment date. Register for a callback with IDES. Thank goodness you are getting current payments.
