Revocable Living Trust

In today’s column you mention retitling your home in the revocable living trust.
Years ago our trusted estate planning attorney set up our living trusts with instructions to put everything into the trusts. However, he said under no circumstances should a home be placed into a revocable living trust in Illinois.
Can you provide any insights into what the drawbacks are to placing the home in a revocable living trust?
