I turned 72 on 08/01/22 & have not started taking my rmd’s yet can I wait till I’m 73?

No. Sorry about that. The law applies to those who turn 72 in 2023. Those people (and younger people) can start taking RMDs at age 73. But since you turned 72 this year and hte law goes into effect next year — you must take one for this year!
