Rolling over old 401K plans

By Terry Savage on October 18, 2020 | Financial Planning / Retirement

I have several 401K plans. Do I roll them into my new 401K or a personal IRA?

Terry Says

Set up ONE Rollover IRA at Fidelity or Vanguard. Then ask them to roll the old IRAS into that one. The only exception would be if one fund offers a higher-yielding stable-value fund. Keep that one open and collect the higher rate money. but it will be far simpler to handle the investments and stay properly diversified if you have only your current 40l(k) and one rollover IRA.
