We have a savings of over $50,000 sitting making us no money. What should we put it in to make it grow. We are in our 60s

First, call your bank and ask them why they are paying you so little! Ask if they have a money market option that pays at least 4%. If not, either find another bank paying a higher rate. Or read this:
