Savings Bonds redemption
Hi Terry,
I have been following you for years and as a result my adult children and I are living debt free.
My question…I recently found 2 EE fully matured savings bonds of substantial value that I had completely forgotten about. I went on the U.S. Treasury website but am still confused as to how to redeem. Any direction would be greatly appreciated!

Well, that’s a delightful surprise for the holiday season. If you’re sure they have stopped paying — beyond 30 years from issue date — then click on this link to find out how to cash them in.
