Second mortgage
We have a 30 year mortgage and have been holding a second mortgage for 20 of these 30 years.
Can we get rid of it? It’s held through a different lender.

Sure,why pay interest on two mortgages. If you have the cash, and if it won’t leave you broke, contact the mortgage servicer and ask for the payoff amount.
