Self employed Illinois unemployment benefits
Husband is self employed and applied for UE, was denied and letter stated had no benefits available. Not sure what the next step is can u advise? No one takes calls at UE

YES, the next step is to go to the website — the new website — at www.IDES.Illinois.gov and click on the PUA section. Since he was turned down for traditional benefits he can apply immediately for the PUA self-employed benefits.
