Should I take offer Paramount’s offer to acquire my 35 shares of Warner Bros. Discovery shares
Good morning, Terry. I love listening to you on WGN and reading your columns. We acquired 35 shares of Warner Bros. Discovery because of a spin-off from AT&T Inc. We received a letter of transmittal advising Paramount is offering $30 a share. Netflix is their rival bidder and are offering $23 per share. Larry Ellison personally guaranteed $40.4 billion for Paramount’s offer. Do you have any thoughts if we should take this offer? We appreciate any guidance. Thank you.

It’s too early to make that decision. You have to wait until just before the Warner Brother’s vote — and that vote hasn’t been scheduled yet. I recently read that the vote won’t come until likely the second quarter — so a few months away. YOu’ll get a notification when there’s a vote.
