social security

I started taking my social security early , I am now 76 years old and am thinking of going to work part time. Will my benefits be reduced if I go back to work?

Terry Says

No, your benefits will not be reduced. And they won’t be taxed unless you earn a total of $25,000 including your SS benefits. At that point half of your benefits will be added to your taxable income, and taxed at your marginal rate.

Keep working and earning money. Even if you pay a bit of taxes on yoru earnings, you’ll come out ahead!
