Can I collect social security on my ex wives. I am 66 years old,

Terry Says

If you were married for 10 years, if you have been divorced for at least 2 years, and if you are not remarried now, and if you are over 62, you can check to see whether getting your own benefit, OR half of her full retirement benefit is larger.
If you wait until YOUR full retirement to apply as a divorced spouse, your benefit will be equal to half of your ex-spouse’s full retirement amount. If you apply earlier, your benefit will be reduced.
