Social security

By Terry Savage on February 10, 2025 | Social Security

Ms.Savage, I am social security age as of February, but I plan on still working for two years yet, and my wife still works. If I take social security now and have taxes taken out on my social security do you know or think that would that would hurt us tax wise and have to pay at the end of the year. My age is 66 @ 8 months. Thank you for your time.

Terry Says

If you’re still working and don’t need the money, I’d strongly suggest you WAIT until age 70 to take SS.
