Ask Terry Questions Social Security decision

Social Security decision

By Terry Savage on May 25, 2023 | Financial Planning / Retirement

My husband passed away in 2013. I am still working but was hoping to collect his SS. At what age can I collect that without an issue of how much I am making? I am 62 and still need to work. I thought I would collect his SS until I am ready to retire then I will drop his and then collect mine. Does this make sense?
Thank you,
