Social security deductions from work income, already collecting
I’m still working and still paying into social security. I’m getting my social security now. Why do I have to pay taxes on my social security when I’m paying every week into it.

Since you’re still paying in, there’s a possibility that the current earnings, if large enough compared to previous years, will actually increase your base benefit!
