Social security money coming our way
Do my husband and I qualify for additional social security they are talking about. Does this affect if we have plan J or down grade other coverage we may have? I am always afraid I will screw something else if I sign up. There are so many scam

You are NOT getting additional Social Security money. You do NOT have to sign up for anything — so yes, beware of scams.
If you have additional income, you get an increased income tax DEDUCTION of $6,000 each when you prepare your return.
And if you were having taxes withheld from a pension or other benefit, you might have to file a tax return to get a refund of those taxes.

But nothing else changes — not your Medicare, not your supplement — absolutely nothing.
