Can you recommend the best book I can purchase to understand the area around Social Security and Retirement. My wife and I want to ensure that we are getting everything we are entitled to from SS after paying into it for the past 25 / 35 years.

Terry Says:  There’s a link at my website to T.Rowe Price’s Social Security calculator.  They have a great program for demonstrating the various scenarios a couple can use to either maximize benefits now, or later, or ensure that a surviving spouse gets the most benefits possible.  There are some tradeoffs, so you might want to use the online calculator to see how they work.
