Social Security taxes withheld?

By Terry Savage on October 19, 2020 | Financial Planning / Retirement

Should I have taxes taken out of my Social Security?

Terry Says

That depends on your overall tax status. If you have other income, it might be wise to establish withholding. But there are limitations. You can have 7, 10, 12 or 22 percent of your monthly benefit withheld for taxes but Only these percentages can be withheld.
