Social Security Windfall
Terry, I talked to you on WGN about a month ago as I didn’t received my Windfall Retro payment. You told me to wait until July 4th and I should have it. I am happy to say I received it and I thank you for your help. One question, when I was affected by Windfall my Social Security benefit before any deductions was $993.00, went up to $1553.00 monthly after Windfall was eliminated. I thought I only received 40% of my SS benefit because of Windfall. I thought my benefit would be doubled but it wasn’t. I am extremely happy with SS for the increase, I just thought it would be more. My question, does my increase seem accurate to you. Thank you for reading this and all your help.

I’m glad you got the windfall check. And I still trust SS to calculate correctly.
