Solar farm lease
We been approached by a company to lease our 15 acre property to install a solar farm. Have you had any experience with solar farms?

Whew — I had never heard of this. But I started by using Google: “solar farm lease”!
And I soon realized this is a huge business — with companies paying up to $1,000 per acre.
BUT, we don’t know if certain subsidies and credits will now be phased out by the new administration, dropping the price.
And this is a very complex transaction, so please do your research and find an expert attorney (again using search) to help you through this process if you decide to go ahead.
Once under lease, the real concern is that you maybe (forever) limited in selling your land!
