Son’s second stimulus went into a bank account – not theirs-
They looked on the IRS website and it said it had been deposited in this other account that isn’t even close to their number. I told him to start with his bank to see if that number is at their bank.
Is there an IRS phone number to call to report that.

There is no way to contact the IRS. Period. Your idea of checking with that bank was a good one. And if he still hasn’t received his check by the time he files his 2020 return next month, he can claim it as a credit on Line 30. That will establish his dispute, at least, and cause them to –hopefully — look into where his $600 went.
