SS notice of overpayment of benefits
My 78 year old husband received a notification that Social Security has overpaid him over $23,000 and is advising that $567 per month will be deducted from his benefit. We do not believe this is accurate. Is this something you can look into for us, and if not, who can we contact to gain a better understanding of their claim of overpayment? Thank you.

They deal with these issues all the time. The retainer fee is $500. In my experience, it’s worth it!
I don’t think you can deal with this on your own.
