SS / taking mine at 63 vs survivors benefits at 67

By Terry Savage on August 26, 2024 | Financial Planning / Retirement

My spouse died in Jan. 2024. My financial planner is suggesting I take my SS benefits now at 63 and work less hours. I want to wait to get my husbands benefit until I am 67.

I want to make sure you get the correct advice — and that doesn’t seem right to me! Please go to www.MaximizeMySocialSecurity.com and insert your information, and your late spouse’s information. It is completely secure. Taht is the ONLY way I can be sure you are getting the proper strategy.
You might want to do this in your planner’s office. Maybe he will learn something new!
