Ask Terry Questions SSI payee/stimulus check

SSI payee/stimulus check

By Terry Savage on May 06, 2020 | Wild Card

Hello, Terry
I have scoured the internet, trying to find the answer to my question, with no luck so far. I hope you can help.
My question is; As an SSI, payee-representative, for my 2 children, whose father died several years ago, will I recieve a stimulus check, along with the round of SSI & SSD recipients, in late April, early May? I, myself do not work at the moment. I did not file taxes in 2019. The SSI is my only income. I recieve my childrens’ payments, via direct express, and of course, the card is in my name. I don’t have any other bank accounts.
I did look up my own Social Security status the other week, online, and there was no information pertaining to my children, their money, or my payee status. This has me concerned, that instead of recieving the payment in the next 3 weeks, with other SSI recipients, I will have to wait until September, when non filing, non working people with no bank accounts are supposed to recieve their paper checks.
Thank you for taking the time to review my question.
