Status of 2020 federal income tax return
The IRS is unable to respond to me on the phone. I completed their website process and they couldn’t help. Can you please help me find the status of my ‘20 fed. Income tax return?

Create an account at IRS.gov. It’s easy– once you find the exact location. Do that by clicking on “sign in to your account” — even though you don’t yet have an ID.me account! Then look to the bottom of that page and you will find a small box that says “create account.” Do that — easily. And that’s how you will find out what your return status is.
