My sister file my 2020 tax and had the money come to her account.the irs re rout my stimulus to her account. Now we dont no who funds it is. Because her name is the only one on that account.how can i find out who it belong to?

Wow, that’s a problem. Was she eligible for a stimulus based on her 2019 or 2020 income? If so, then I have no idea how you will find out if it’s your money or hers! Maybe a second check will come soon, and solve the problem! In the first round of stimulus payments last year, they sent letters letting you know your check had been deposited. but not this time around.

Or the bank may have rejected a check in YOUR name if it was sent to your sister’s account. In that case, the IRS would re-send it by mail. So keep watching your mailing address on your tax return.
