stimulus
Dear Terry, my husband died August 2019, I have a Social Security check deposited to my checking account every month. I filed my 2019 taxes in March and received a refund by check, not into my checking account. When I check the Get My Payment web site it says I am eligible for a stimulus check but have not received anything. Is there somewhere else I can check to see what is goign on?

Be patient. You will get your stimulus payment in mid-to-late May, but it could come to either the direct deposit SS account or by check. And I won’t be surprised if you get one for your late husband, as well, since you filed jointly. You can keep that as well.
