I filled out the non-filers form, claiming my 13-year-old son. And I only received $1200 back from the IRS. How do I get the $500 for my son?

Are you sure he wasn’t declared a dependent by his father, or someone else? Or, are you an SSI recipient? IF so you should try again to fill out a form and claim him separately by using this link.
