Stimulus Check
I received $1200 in April 2020. It was deposited directly into my checking account. I did not receive the $600 scheduled for 2021. In checking with the IRS website, my check was to have been mailed. Do I fill out the special section on the IRS 1040 for this $600.00? Was it actually for 2020? I do believe I’m eligible for the stimulus money. I’m almost 71 and retired and don’t have income over $72,000. Thanks very much for your help with this.

You will file a 2020 tax return, and claim that $600 on Line 30. Read this article.
The new $1400 check shoudl come automatically since the IRS has your direct deposit information. So look for it in your checking account in the next week or so.
