Stimulus Check Eligibility
Hi Terry, My husband and I filed our 2019 tax jointly. He was claimed as a dependent but I was not. Our AGI was less than $50,000.00. I know my husband doesn’t get a check as a dependent. But am I eligible to get the stimulus check since I wasn’t claimed as a dependent on anyone else’s tax return? Thank you for your answer.

You should receive yours — but it could take a while because this will require some study by the IRS. (This is NOT the same as when one spouse owes back child support, files jointly, and neither then receives a stimulus payment.) I’m thinking it could take until June for them to review your return and send a check.
