Stimulus check for child
My divorce was finalized on November 15,2019 and my wife gets the tax break on our 15 year old son on odd years and I get it on even years. Will she receive our child’s stimulus check or will I? I try to keep conversations with her to a minimum lol! Thank you and I appreciate your appearances on WGN news!

Ha, you’re not the only one who asked that question. The $500 will be paid to the person who declared the child on the most recent return filed, either 2019 or 2018, if 2018 was not filed.
Now, the nice thing would be to agree to split the $500! YOu can say it was my suggestion!
