Stimulus check for deceased
Hi Terry –
My father passed away on January 2nd this year from Covid. I just received his $1400 stimulus check in the mail, which came in his name, but to my address. Was he eligible to receive this and can I accept the funds on his behalf as part of his Estate?

Yes, absolutely his estate is entitled to it! He was alive at yearend 2020, and that’s what matters.
