Stimulus check for deceased spouse
Late last year my husband passed away. I have not filed yet this year, but last year we filed joint. They won’t make a mistake and send me a larger check then ask for the difference back, will they?

Actually, they may make this mistake. Just deposit the money and I’m sure eventually they will get around to coordinating, and may ask for it back (the portion that represented money sent to your late husband) — or as an adjustment on your 2020 return, which you will file next year. OR, you could just file now for 2019 as a single filer, and solve that problem!
