My mom is in a nursing home and is 85 her stimulus check went to nursing home …do they keep it or should it be sent to her poa…

ABSOLUTELY NO they do NOT get to keep it! In fact, just this week the iRS issued a statement to that effect. DEMAND that they put it into her own account (or that they give it to you if you have power of attorney for her finances). And if you have a problem, please write back. I’d love to do a Channel 9 Morning News story on this issue!!!
